Idea Napkin No. 2

In idea Napkin No, 2 I decided to go with a much more broader view on who I am as a person and what I would like to achieve. My name is Alexa Bernstein and I am offering a jewelry line for kids in which they design what they want on paper and I make it. My target audience is of course kids, but mostly parents with kids. This cool, new, millennial idea will have kids going wild! My customers will spend their product on my company because what better why to make your kids happy than doing what they want/love? No other way! My core competencies are other jewelry businesses that specify in jewelry for kids. The feedback memo for me includes locations of each store, gender differences in jewelry, customer service, owner feedback, and employee needs

  1. Hi Alexa,

This is an interesting idea! My mother is very sentimental and kept all of the arts and crafts that my sisters and I made when we were younger. I think she would have enjoyed your idea and would like to have jewelry that her kids made. I believe your company could make a good amount of money around the holidays and for Mother's Day. Marketing to parents and grandparents may be your best option for increasing sales.

Thanks for sharing! Here's a link to my idea napkin. http://jamestyrrell.blogspot.com/2016/03/idea-napkin-number-2.html

  2. Hi Alexa,

Your idea sounds neat and interesting. However, I would like to hear more about how the business would work. Would it be an online store or a physical location? Would you only include jewelry or could you create other aspects of fashion or toys. Customization is highly appealing to our generation and I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to get their kids involved. Maybe you could also create custom stuffed animals, toys, or other fashion products for kids too. I think your direction is great and there’s a lot of potential.

My idea, unfortunately, has nothing to do with kids or customization. I chose a production company for lesser known national musicians to get their live shows on YouTube and other streaming services while making them some money in the process. There is a need for higher quality live shows from many musical artists and I believe consumers would love to see them.

  3. Hi Alexa,
I really like your idea! I think it really applies to a ton of children out there! My only critique that I was able to find was that a jewelry store mainly applies to women. If you're target audience isn't young boys then I assume you will neglect this but I encourage you market the jewelry as if it were not only for women. The key to this business is successful marketing! Good luck! Heres the link to my blog! http://myufblog.blogspot.com/2016/03/idea-napkin-no-2.html

  4. Alexa, first of all I really like how your blog is set up very interesting background. I think your idea is truly a great one because it is starting to get kids at a young age to be creative. I think its not only fun for them but the parents as well. This is really something you should look into doing I am sure it would be appreciated by many and be a successful business in general.
