What's Next
I decided to go with a much more broader view on who I am as a person and what I would like to achieve. My name is Alexa Bernstein and I am offering a jewelry line for kids in which they design what they want on paper and I make it. My target audience is of course kids, but mostly parents with kids. This cool, new, millennial idea will have kids going wild! My customers will spend their product on my company because what better why to make your kids happy than doing what they want/love? No other way! My core competencies are other jewelry businesses that specify in jewelry for kids. The feedback memo for me includes locations of each store, gender differences in jewelry, customer service, owner feedback, and employee needs

ReplyDeleteI think this is a good idea but could be very challenging. Figuring out what children like from generation to generation is much harder than it sounds. I work with kids and I often find that they like something new everyday. I think this business could work but, try to elaborate on your assignment. Look for feedback and ideas from others! ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't think you posted any video or audio for your assignment, so that was a little disappointing. This a very interesting idea. It would definitely have to be expensive for each piece of jewelry. I have seen other draw and get made design companies for children such as stuffed animals. You could look into communicating with them.
Unfortunately, I didn't make a whats next post, but I sure enjoyed reading yours!
This is a cool idea. I just think you would need to limit kids on what they can make based on your abilities, equipment and limitations. Sometimes, childrens' imaginations can run a bit too wild. I also noticed you do not have a video so this post really is not complete. I did not make a whats next post though.
ReplyDeleteit seems good idea, but i wonder that are kids interested in jewelry. Also, i think you should have interviewed cutomers or people who can use your products, but i cant see any videos. it would be very useful if you uploaded some video because feedback which you get from your cutomers will be very benefical in your business.

Alexa, you missed a lot of stuff on this assignment. You didn't exactly meet all of the writing requirements and didn't post any interviews..? You should re-do your blog post or make sure you work with enough time next time. It's difficult to read your post because of the word colors and highlights, I would change the colors to something easier on the eyes. You seem enthusiastic in your post and like you are passionate about the idea, but this blog post really didn't have any effort in it. ReplyDeleteThe best thing for you that you will continue on is the personalization to your business. The hardest audience is kids, as this includes the approval of their parents, so this niche is very complicated but rewarding as you have the potential to affect many lives.
